Since we’re all planning away for 2022, I thought I’d talk about the type of goals you should make room for, as a Kingdom Woman.
I know we think about all the typical areas of ministry, marriage, and career/business. But there are actually some key areas where you need to consider setting goals.
And while these aren’t likely on your radar, if you’ll make room for these particular goals, I bet your 2022 will thank you for it!
Are you looking around wondering where has the year gone and not a single goal achieved to show for it?
Did you start off the year like American Pharoh in the Kentucky Derby only to fizzle out long before you reached the finish line?
Or perhaps you knocked out some goals and were #winning and then something crept up inside of you that has you looking like a deer in headlights now…
…if so then you need to grab my FREE Kingdom Woman’s Year-In-Review Guidebook
In it, you will get instant access to my personal, proprietary method of prepping for your best year ever.

Angelica says
Thank you so much! I’m delighted to hear that you feel like we’re sitting across the table chatting at a coffee shop.
Dr. AJ Austin says
Wow! These (5) major goal areas have opened my eyes (I’m SO looking forward to evaluating them deeper during this year’s annual retreat!).
Goal #1 has often been FORCED into action when our #1 support system (our physical bodies) are out of alignment!
I’ve recently added sprituality and healing to my goals this year, so this episode REALLY hit home! Thank you❤️
Angelica says
My pleasure, SisterFriend! I’m looking forward to the Annual Retreat as well.
Mrs Elaine Ajie says
Great pod cast and so true great advice
Angelica says
Thank you, Elaine!
Kristen Brainard says
Oh my goodness! These are always at the bottom of my list! How can I pour into others if I don’t pour into me first? Take time to care about me. Take time for the things I find fun— like learning how to woodwork! Thank you Angelica for bringing to the forefront what I normally put last!!
Angelica says
I’m so glad this episode blessed you, Kristen!
Pamela Ogletree says
I really, really enjoyed this. I am so excited that I “found”, (I know I was lead to you) you through your Bible study.
Angelica says
I’m so glad you’ve joined our community, Pamela!
Challis says
As always so many take always from your podcast. Thanks for pouring into us and keeping us on track to fulfill our God shaped dreams. It is so easy to get distracted and discouraged. Each time I listen it a soft kick in the pants.
Angelica says
Better a soft kick in the pants than a hard smack upside the head! Chose those dreams, Challis!
Alison Wattley says
It was great to hear the different areas where I needed to have goals. I know this is doable and it will be done. What stuck out to me the most is the difference between spiritual growth and sell care, also I specifically loved the statement that “The kingdom of God is better when we have money”
Angelica says
This is very doable, Alison. Thanks for sharing your takeaways.
Kristina says
I learned so much about the goals I SHOULD be focusing on as a woman. The one that stood out to me the most was self care. I decided that in 2022, I’m going to put myself first. If I don’t have me together, then how can I show up for everyone else? I am prioritizing me. 🙂
Angelica says
Yes! You’ve got this, SisterFriend!
Pamela Ogletree says
This was so on point and practical! Even though it was shared in November I will use this information going forward.
Thank you Sister Friend!
Angelica says
I’m so glad it blessed you, Pamela. 💕
Lynda Flowers says
Such a great reminder to not get tunnel vision on business goals only. Balance is needed or our goals will crash. One of my challenges is to be ok with self-care goals and hobby goals. I know we need them, but I feel unproductive. I’m looking forward to working through the Year in Review workbook and identifying positive, realistic goals. Thank you!
Angelica says
Self-care and hobby goals are sooo important, Lynda! Think of it as investing in yourself.
LAQUIDA BARNETT says
I especially like the part where you talk about legacy …. sometimes when in the moment and looking at the next thing we forget to look forward to the lasting thing …
Angelica says
Legacy is so important, LaQuida! Thanks for sharing that takeaway.
Valerie says
I love your podcast. I haven’t been able to listen to a whole lot of them. Life is crazy right now.
Angelica says
I understand crazy life!
Denise Jones says
Thank you. You make a cup of tea or coffee enjoyable as I listen to your podcast, revamping my goals for the year!!!
Angelica says
It’s going to be a great year, Denise!
Kimberly Smith says
This was so helpful for me. I need to set all of these goals Asap. We do so much that we sometimes
forget to do things to help ourselves.
Great information
Telanna says
Thank you, these were all great reminders. I appreciate how thought-provoking this episode was for me. The takeaway that I will apply to my goals is to be more intentional with my intellectual goal. I don’t think I have ever explicitly set an intellectual goal outside of a school setting. Still, I can see the distinction in being open to learning something new and strategically planning for it. As I reflect, I will distinguish between learning for a hobby/skill and an academic goal. Thank you.
Angelica says
I’m so glad it helped, Telanna.
Patriena Walrond says
Thank you 🙏🏽 I will be implementing these goals because I know that they will beneficial to my growth as a kingdom woman.
Angelica says
My pleasure, Patriena!
Regina says
I need to work on 2/5. I joined this group as a start to my spiritual path. I have to redo some dining chairs, so hopefully, that will jump-start me into my hobby. Otherwise, it’s cleaning and yard work. It’s how i destress.
Angelica says
That’s a great way to destress, Regina! Very productive!
Jen says
1. Self Care & Personal Wellness!
2. Spiritual growth (Interesting why she made that #2!!)
3. A vocational
4. Intellectual
5. Financial goals
OH WOWWW!! A First-generation American with Panamanian parents!! We are the same person! Love this episode girl!! THANK YOU!
Angelica says
If your self-care falls by the wayside and you become ill, you won’t work on your spiritual growth. Keep yourself healthy (you are made in the Imago Dei) to grow in His Word!
Viva la Panama!
Latoye says
I am in total agreement with these 5 goals. Thanks for pointing them out., I have already begun the work in a few areas but I will be intentional in each area moving forward.
Enola says
Oh, SisterFriend, I have so much to do…. I had no idea I was neglecting so much. Please pray for me.

Aretha Vaden says
I really needed to hear this, and the timing was just perfect. It allow me to know that it’s ok to put me first, instead of always putting others before me.
I will be working on making the goals for myself in 2022.
Thank you so much 💗.
Angelica says
My pleasure, Aretha! Can’t wait to see what God has in store for you in 2022. 💕

I love that you shared The Millionaire Next Door! book with us. It is so powerful that you reminded us that “The Kingdom of God is better when women have money!” I better understand now that is not wrong for us to want more money. God does truly want us to prosper.
