Ep 35 | The 5 Goals Every Serious Kingdom Woman Needs To Make Room For

November 29, 2021 by Angelica 46 Comments

Since we’re all planning away for 2022, I thought I’d talk about the type of goals you should make room for, as a Kingdom Woman.

I know we think about all the typical areas of ministry, marriage, and career/business. But there are actually some key areas where you need to consider setting goals.

And while these aren’t likely on your radar, if you’ll make room for these particular goals, I bet your 2022 will thank you for it!

Are you looking around wondering where has the year gone and not a single goal achieved to show for it?

Did you start off the year like American Pharoh in the Kentucky Derby only to fizzle out long before you reached the finish line?

Or perhaps you knocked out some goals and were #winning and then something crept up inside of you that has you looking like a deer in headlights now…

…if so then you need to grab my FREE Kingdom Woman’s Year-In-Review Guidebook

In it, you will get instant access to my personal, proprietary method of prepping for your best year ever.

I always enjoy your podcast, it is like we are having a cup of java together in the same space and you are talking about everything that I had questions about, didn’t think about or just about what I need to know! God has so blessed you Angelica and you are using your wit & wisdom to be a blessing to women such as myself.

Wow! These (5) major goal areas have opened my eyes (I’m SO looking forward to evaluating them deeper during this year’s annual retreat!).

Goal #1 has often been FORCED into action when our #1 support system (our physical bodies) are out of alignment!

I’ve recently added sprituality and healing to my goals this year, so this episode REALLY hit home! Thank you❤️

Oh my goodness! These are always at the bottom of my list! How can I pour into others if I don’t pour into me first? Take time to care about me. Take time for the things I find fun— like learning how to woodwork! Thank you Angelica for bringing to the forefront what I normally put last!!

It was great to hear the different areas where I needed to have goals. I know this is doable and it will be done. What stuck out to me the most is the difference between spiritual growth and sell care, also I specifically loved the statement that “The kingdom of God is better when we have money”

I learned so much about the goals I SHOULD be focusing on as a woman. The one that stood out to me the most was self care. I decided that in 2022, I’m going to put myself first. If I don’t have me together, then how can I show up for everyone else? I am prioritizing me. 🙂

Such a great reminder to not get tunnel vision on business goals only. Balance is needed or our goals will crash. One of my challenges is to be ok with self-care goals and hobby goals. I know we need them, but I feel unproductive. I’m looking forward to working through the Year in Review workbook and identifying positive, realistic goals. Thank you!

Thank you, these were all great reminders. I appreciate how thought-provoking this episode was for me. The takeaway that I will apply to my goals is to be more intentional with my intellectual goal. I don’t think I have ever explicitly set an intellectual goal outside of a school setting. Still, I can see the distinction in being open to learning something new and strategically planning for it. As I reflect, I will distinguish between learning for a hobby/skill and an academic goal. Thank you.

If your self-care falls by the wayside and you become ill, you won’t work on your spiritual growth. Keep yourself healthy (you are made in the Imago Dei) to grow in His Word!

I love that you shared The Millionaire Next Door! book with us. It is so powerful that you reminded us that “The Kingdom of God is better when women have money!” I better understand now that is not wrong for us to want more money. God does truly want us to prosper.
